I’m Viona Batavia, an industrial design undergraduate at SCAD – Savannah College of Art and Design, passionate about uncovering the ‘whys’ and ‘hows’ behind products and their impact on our lives. I believe design is more than aesthetics—it’s about function, experience, and purpose. Results-driven and a team player, I thrive on collaboration and purposeful design, ensuring that every product I create is both intuitive and impactful. Inspired by Henry Dreyfuss’s philosophy in Designing for People, I stand by his words: "When the point of contact between the product and people becomes a point of friction, then the designer has failed." To me, a designer is not just an artist but a silent salesman, manufacturer, and strategist, shaping seamless experiences that speak for themselves.
